On August 29 &30, 2025, Compatriot Harold Gonzales represented the Dr. Enemund Meullion Chapter and the Louisiana Society when he presented the Louisiana and Chapter Wreath and served in the Color Guard for the Battle of Eutaw Springs. South Carolina. They also unveiled a new highway marker and the DAR presented a new plaque. Got a new streamer for the Chapter Flag.



On August 22, 2025, Compatriot Larry "Joe" Reynolds represented the Dr. Enemund Meullion Chapter and the Louisiana Society at a Liberty Tree planting and Memorial Bench dedication at the Folds of Honor Headquarters in Owasso, Oklahoma.



On August 16, 2025, Compatriot Harold Gonzales represented the Dr. Enemund Meullion Chapter and the Louisiana Society at the Battle of Camden Site. Presented the Wreath and served in color guard.

On July 19th, 2025, Honorable Kerry Spruill gave a presentation at our Chapter meeting on the history of the Sixth and the Seventh Amendments of the U.S. Constitution that guarantees the right to a jury trial in criminal and civil cases.

At our May 17th, 2025 Meeting we honored Aubrey Birinyi with two certificates and two checks for winning the 2024 Americanism Poster Contest at both the chapter and state levels. Our program was "The Battle of Eutaw Springs, SC, in Myth and Memory."

LASSAR President talks about "Oliver Pollock" and Installed Officers (January 18, 2025)
 LASSAR President Russ Godwin inducted the 2025-2026 Chapter Officers: President, A. Gervais Compton, Jr. Chaplain, Clyde Neck; and Secretary / Treasurer / Registrar Brent Morock. Vice President, Darrell Poole, Ph.D., not pictured.
 Compton presented LASSAR President Russ Godwin with a Certificate of Appreciation for his presentation on Oliver Pollock, a forgotten Patriot, who was instrumental in brokering relationships between American Revolutionaries and the Governors of Spanish Louisiana. Pollock's success as a businessman opened doors for him and allowed him to aid the Patriot cause.
 Chapter President Gervais Compton inducted new member Lawrence Norlander (left) into the SAR. Norlander's Patriot Ancestor Ward Litchfield served as a private in Capt. Ensign Otis' Plymouth Co., MA, Militia Company called "Royal Americans of the town of Scituate," which probably marched in response to the Lexington Alarm of April 19th, 1775.
